Distillery Enzymes
Depending on the feedstocks used, distilleries are categorized into 1st generation ethanol production which uses grains like maize, starch, corn grain, millet, wheat, sweet sorghum, tapioca etc and 2nd generation ethanol production using Molasses and cane juice. Enzymes in ethanol production are widely used for various benefits including accelerating fermentation process and increase in the yield of alcohol production. Azymus Lifesciences offers a range of customized enzyme based formulations depending on the processes and application during distilling.
Enzymes for Grain distilleries
We offer a range of enzyme products capable of enhancing fermentation process and give better and non-contaminated yield of alcohol at a faster rate. Our customized products for grain distilleries consist of a synergistic mixture of enzymes including α-Amylase, β-Amylase, β-glucanase, Protease, Pectinase and Amyloglucosidase applicable at different brewing steps like, Liquefaction, hydrolysis, Saccharification, protein breakdown and improved fermentation.
Enzymes for Molasses and Cane Juice Distilleries
Since second generation ethanol is produced from Molasses and Cane Juice use proper enzyme cocktail is a requisite during fermentation and Saccharification process. We have specialized enzyme mixture that boost ethanol production by catalyzing the fermentation process and increase the yield. Our enzyme mixture has a concerted action of a complex array of hydrolases including Cellulase, Xylanase and Pectinase applicable during fermentation and Saccharification process.
